I also want to make the point that people are jumping on the bandwagon of SLATING the make-up artist who did that powder job. Errrrrm, there are several factors to take into account here. Jolie could have added that powder herself. Yes, a MUA should know better then to use light reflecting powder on a red carpet job where there is flash photography but still, people lay off already!!!
Kelly Osbourne - This is what happens when someone has a pink undertone and uses a yellow foundation or a foundation that is too dark for their skin. I say it over and over again but it is worth your while wearing a foundation that matches what you are. No one wants to be this yellow.
Miley Virus - I have literally no idea why someone would have a two tone face. I can't figure it out. I am guessing that it might be an awful contour done really really badly but thats the only thing I can figure out.
Streaky Tan - There is nothing worse then fake tan. I have lost count of the amount of women I have seen with streaky hands, patchy legs and worse yet, emitting the aroma of fake tan which is awful. This is just unfortunate and embarrassing.
Aggressive Contour - Contour not blended is awful. It sits there like a streak of brown dirt. It looks uncomfortable. We've all had our moments from time to time but this was just awful - this was a court appearance no less! Shudder. I think it looks even worse as she is washed out with little other make-up on which just makes it seems unbalanced and even more harsh.
Unblended eyeshadow - Just blend bitches! There is nothing worse then a lump of eyeshadow just sitting there. Just being awkward.
I don't even know where to start with this one. I don't know if its too much eye product, too much blending, horrible colors, too much product in general.....its awful.
This was the photo from last week. Basically, some products contain ingredients that cause flashback. It's where a product reflects the light that comes from a flash of a camera which gives this chalk effect. You need a product that has less light reflecting particles in it. If your ever in doubt - do a practise photoshoot. Grab a camera and crank up the flash. Take photos from all angles. I am forever telling brides to do this. No one ever wants to discover ON THE DAY that their expensive foundation gives amazing chalk white coverage - unless its a goth wedding!
